Weekly Devotional: 11.9.15, Home Tour Edition

There have been a lot of good home tours posted since the last weekly devotional--did you guys catch these?  What were your take aways?

James Ivory's house in the NYT.  Does it surprise you that the man responsible for Howard's End has a sweet pad?

This sic reno of a Brooklyn Brownstone on Remodelista.  In today's world of FOMO, I think budgets should be required for publishing.  I need to frame this in how many millions were involved before I can deliver a fully formed opinion.  But a great lesson in light all the same.

Peppermint Bliss has been publishing before and afters of the Coastal Living showhouse, room by room.  I haven't been able to find a copy of this month's Coastal Living so I was glad for the alternative platform.  Pretty restrained for Ms. Quinn, but a lot of variety.

Caitlyn Wilson's home in Portland was featured on Domaine.

And One Kings Lane is turning into a nice little shelter mag---three fab features, including

New pics of Sara Ruffin Costello's New Orleans home

Jeffrey Bilhuber's country place (this was just in a print mag, but if you missed it....plus digital files to pin)

And Lulu DK's home tour.  Anyone else remember her from Suzy (W's society column) in the mid-90s?  Such a great mix of old and new art in the bedroom.
